When you complete a form online, such as an online mortgage application, LoanLynx has programs in place to protect it. The information you supply is encrypted and then decoded to begin processing when it arrives to LoanLynx. If you would like to feel more secure as you work with your confidential information online, you can look for a couple features in your web browser that will provide you assurance that your information is protected. First, you can look for a lock icon, typically found in a lower corner of your web window or at the end of the window where the web address appears. Also, within the web address, you can look for it to read https:// at the beginning of the URL. With it typically reading https://, the addition of the “s” means the site you are visiting is secure. With LoanLynx, you are covered!
